Southern Tasmanian Junior Football Association (STJFA)
The STJFA was formed. It was during this early period of changes to the face of football, that the reference ‘Junior’ referred to second tier competitions. There was no junior football as we know it today.

The STJFA (second tier competition) was made-up of clubs : Fitzroy Imperials, Union, Glenorchy, Union Jack, West Hobart and North Hobart.

This competition played for the Scott Shield with teams from Standfast, captain L. Turner and premiers that year, North Hobart were runner-up and captained by N. Mc Williams, Glebe, whose captain was ? Hallam, Excelsior and captained by A. Westwood and C. Jones.

Standard, Moonah and North Hobart. There was no Grand Final played. Standfast was declared the Premier's with five wins. Runners up was Moonah, who later changed its name to YMCA .
